INDIANA ETHANOL FORUM — May 11, 2017
The 2017 Indiana Ethanol Forum, hosted by Indiana Corn Growers Association, will feature experts in the biofuels industry who will provide an update on critical ethanol issues. The forum will be at Ivy Tech Corporate College and Culinary Center in Indianapolis on May 11, 2017.
At the forum, Emily Skor, CEO of Growth Energy, will give a keynote address highlighting the progress that has been made in the ethanol industry. Adam Gustafson, legal counsel to the Urban Air Initiative, will update attendees on where the industry is in regards to the EPA and regulations.
The forum will also include a panel discussion featuring Indiana fuel retailers participating in the Hoosier Homegrown Fuels Grant Program. They will discuss the opportunities and challenges in selling E15 and higher ethanol blends in Indiana.
Indiana Corn Marketing Council is a proud sponsor of the Indiana Ethanol Forum. With 14 operating ethanol plants in the state, the ethanol industry is an important driver to Indiana’s economy and the state’s corn farmers. The Indiana Ethanol Forum is held every summer and offers agriculture, ethanol production, economic development and government leaders from around the country an opportunity to discuss the state of the ethanol industry today and how to work together for ethanol advancement.
THE 2015 INDIANA ETHANOL FORUM
The 2015 Indiana Ethanol Forum, hosted by Indiana Corn Growers Association, featured several engaging speakers focusing on exciting new research, new market opportunities and updates on RFS and its status in DC. Additionally, new research on the economic impact of ethanol in Indiana was presented at the forum.

The "Economic Impact of the Ethanol Industry on Indiana's Economy in 2014" was prepared for the Indiana Corn Marketing Council to highlight the economic impact of Indiana's ethanol industry. The study, completed in March 2015, was done by Informa Economics. In 2014, Indiana produced an estimated 989 million gallons of ethanol and had a net contribution to the state's GSP of $934 million, including farmer income of $315 million.
